Cadwell Park Track Evening

Went on a Ducati track evening at Cadwell park last wednesday evening, had 3 cracking sessions, avoided taking the 1098 out for a run, £500 excess if you trashed it.
Had a couple of off track excursions, mainly outbraking myself at Park Corner, quick trip on the grass but back on ok.
Managed a 1 minute 58 second lap on my 1994 CBR600F, felt good to a geriatric on a geriatric bike.
Only down side was my mate turning up on his mint ZXR636 kwak to watch, paid his cash and joined us on track, last session he highsided at the chicane.
2 mins later my son was nudged off his road bike coming out of Barn Corner, onto the grass and flipped it.
A few aches, pains and bruises but all ok. Trouble is we have just over 3 weeks to repair them before a 5 day jaunt into Europe. Great.
We also have a 2 day track event with Focused events on 23/24 May, need to find them cheap track bikes I reckon!

Oh well at least the start of the day was good.
Aye those old track bikes are a god send when you don't want to trash your pride and joy.
And I might have a ZX6 F3 for sale quite soon.
